Rule Number One, Don't Harm My Child

By now we have all heard about the inappropriate behavior of the Republican Florida Member of Congress, who is being investigated for being a child sexual predator. It is safe to say the Member of Congress was shamed.

But the media is reporting that his offensive behavior has been going on for years and has been reported to the Congressional leadership that has been led by Republicans for many years, on many occasions who deemed to not only to deny hearing about the allegations but did nothing to stop it. The Republican leadership has no shame.

President Bush is circling the wagons to protect the House Republican leadership. He has no shame.

It is supposed to be an honor for the children and their parents to be selected to go to Washington, D. C. to become a page. All parents anticipate their children will be safe in Washington , D. C. as pages from sexual predators, but evidently this is not the case. The predator was agressive and approached many boys while they were pages and also continued to approach them after the pages completed their service and went back home.

President Bush, the safety of our children comes first. Don't try to whitewash the situation. Let the chips fall where they deserve to fall. Tell America that our children are not our most important asset and should be protected at all costs. Show some dignity.

This is not the time to pursue Republican party political advantage bias...it involves the safety of our children.
