Immigration and Nationality Act (8 USC)

Immigration and Nationality Act (8 USC)

There is law at the Federal Level, Immigration and Nationality Act (8 USC), that describes immigration and nationality of the United States. It was written over by our national Senators and Representatives over the years and sections of it has been repealed or ommitted many times since

Below is Part 8 General Penalty Provisions
Sec. 1321. Prevention of unauthorized landing of aliens
Sec. 1322. Bringing in aliens subject to denial of admission on a health-related ground; persons liable; clearance papers; exceptions; "person" defined
Sec. 1323. Unlawful bringing of aliens into United States
Sec. 1324. Bringing in and harboring certain aliens
Sec. 1324a. Unlawful employment of aliens
Sec. 1324b. Unfair immigration-related employment practices
Sec. 1324c. Penalties for document fraud
Sec. 1324d. Civil penalties for failure to depart
Sec. 1325. Improper entry by alien
Sec. 1326. Reentry of removed aliens
Sec. 1327. Aiding or assisting certain aliens to enter
Sec. 1328. Importation of alien for immoral purpose
Sec. 1329. Jurisdiction of district courts
Sec. 1330. Collection of penalties and expenses

Those of us that try to be law abiding, follow the law. But if we disagree with something in the law, we can talk or write to our Congress person to change it. If our representative ignores our request, we can try to elect someone else to represent us. Any law abiding citizen expects our national leaders to follow the law until it is changed. Our founding fathers expected the laws to be fulfilled. I think it is called anarchy when laws are disobeyed...only this time it our President and his staff, illegal aliens, employers of illegal aliens, and facilitators of the illegal aliens that are the anarchists.

There has been recent approval for hundreds of miles of new fencing to be installed on the Mexican border. But the installation of the fence is going at a snails pace, if at all. It has been a long time that passed already since the President signed the bills to build the new fence and said that he will build it but there is no meaningful progress on it. I guess this is something additional that a future President will have to accomplish.

One Presidential contender says that fences do not prevent illegal immigration because he says for bigger fences, they get bigger ladders. I guess he has not heard of razor wire, electrification, or land mines. I dislike land mines, but I am open to it if nothing else works to stop the illegal invasion of the United States. I am even open to permanently guarding the border with brigades of military police in each border state for them to protect the border military style.

The Executive branch is slowing down the prosecution of illegal aliens and the employers of illegal aliens compared to the results of his presidential predecessors. The Executive branch earns an "F" for failure to carry out the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 USC). I am no lawyer, but I think Bush and Secretary Chernoff both have been criminally negligent on this manner and they should be prosecuted for ignoring the law. Presidents and Secretaries should not be able to pick and choose which laws they will follow or ignore.

We also have santuary cities where the mayors have welcomed illegal aliens. We also noticed the city of New Haven, Connecticut is providing id cards to illegal aliens. I am no lawyer, but I think this code is violated again many times and the mayors and city councils should be prosecuted.

If a presidential contender said he or she would build the border fence quickly when inaugerated, and vigorously prosecute the violaters of the Immigration and Nationality Act I would seriously consider voting for that person. Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama, and John Edwards are status quo trying to suck up to Latino voters and like President George Bush are criminal in seeking to ignore the Immigration and Nationality Act. Just what we need now, more anarchy from our Presidential contenders.
