Tie The Financial Bailout to Hiring Americans

Tie The Financial Bailout to Hiring Americans

Everyone is focused on the financial institutions and markets. Major institutions have been bailed out. The Fed is buying commercial paper from non-financial companies. Aid is not to just banks, brokers, and insurance companies anymore. There is over $700 billion to buy bad paper. Fed rates may be cut again. It is going to cost American taxpayers more than a trillion dollars.

Congress and Bush have concentrated in how to help big business and they have accomplished a lot. Now is the time to focus on unemployment and to use the opportunity to tie American job creation with the bailouts. It is the right thing to do.

Pressure should be placed to accomplish more work within the United States instead of outsourcing overseas. Aliens on the 23 types of temporary worker visas such as H1B should be sent back to their home countries because Americans are willing and able to perform those jobs. Illegal aliens should be prosecuted and returned to their home countries. Employers of illegal aliens should be prosecuted.

America is bailing out big business (it is not just the financials anymore) and should get good paying jobs in America for Americans for it.

Outsourcing overseas and employment of aliens in America are un-American.
