Why is Madoff and his wife not in jail right now? It is unbelievable. Why hasn't all of their assets been confiscated?
Negotiate? Negotiate nothing. He cannot make full restitution. There is no bargaining power. Everyone knows the penthouse will be sold to partially pay his debt. It also smells fishy that all of their relatives employed in the company had no idea or did not participate in the fraud and theft.
President Obama, you have to get tough with the crooks or else others will think they will get away with things.
