The Lame Duck Is a Turkey

The Lame Duck Is a Turkey

President Bush plugged away for drilling at ANWR or the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge but even his own Executive Office says, "The report, issued by the Energy Information Administration, or EIA, said that if Congress gave the go-ahead to pump oil from Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the crude could begin flowing by 2013 and reach a peak of 876,000 barrels a day by 2025.

But even at peak production, the EIA analysis said, the United States would still have to import two-thirds of its oil, as opposed to an expected 70 percent if the refuge’s oil remained off the market."

His response to the energy crises is to drill in the ANWR.

This is the man that killed the California and Arizona electric car, which if he and others in government supported it could have replaced million of gas powered vehicles with plug electric cars today providing some needed relief today with the high price of gasoline and diesel fuels. Read all about it in the following link, click here .

There are many countries that will be energy independant within 5 years. America has been in an analysis phase during the past 7 years of the Bush Administration with a prediction that it will take us 25 years to reach our goals. It will take another President to give America a decent Energy Plan for America. This President is a turkey, not a lame duck. By the way, John McCain, the Republican Party Presidential nominee thinks just like President Bush, another turkey. Gobble, gobble, White House.
